My Style: Fun - Vibrant - Energetic - Active - Creative - Stylish - Personalized
My Technique: I use a combination of spontaneous photojournalism and a more purposeful portrait style, depending on each individual situation. Some shoots are better accomplished in a free form style, while others require a more posed look with additional lighting and perhaps backdrops. Whether my subject chooses to pose or play in front of my lens, my goal is to capture those emotions, expressions and personal details of each subject as their unique story unfolds. I use my creative perspective in determining which techniques to use during each session, as well as in the customized post processing of each image.
My Goals
• To capture candid, in-the-moment images that project the heart, soul and spirit of each unique subject, be they human or animal!
• To provide quality customer service, as well as quality products.
• To keep the entire experience enjoyable!
I live just outside of Portland and am constantly inspired by my dogs, who wake up each morning, ready to dance through the day and fully experience each moment, thus creating their own unique life story.
My sister’s response to the name Dancing Dog Photography was: “how perfect Debbie....you have been dancing with animals, people and creativity your entire life!”
